Mark Croudace
Chief Executive Officer
Mark Croudace is the CEO of MGA Thermal, a company dedicated to providing cost-effective scalable thermal energy storage materials and associated know-how. Mark is a passionate & experienced leader who started his career as a Chemical Engineer & has added significant strategic, operational & global leadership capability across both public and private sector businesses. Mark has succeeded in global leadership roles in the engineering and services industries. He is also an active early-stage tech investor having helped numerous fast growth business succeed. Mark leads the commercialisation of MGA Thermal. Mark has a BE (Chem), an MBA (Exec), and has undertaken further leadership studies including at Harvard Business School.
Alexander Post
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Dr. Alexander Post is a graduate of mechanical engineering and physics from the University of Newcastle, and holds a PhD in concentrated solar thermal power with the CSIRO. His specialty is in technological and economic analysis of emerging renewable energy technologies. His professional passion is in creating sustainable business pathways to commercialise innovative deep tech research for real world impact. Alexander was listed as one of the country’s top 100 innovators by the Australian Business Review in 2021, and is a founder and the CTO of MGA Thermal.
Anna Starrett
Chief Financial Officer
Anna is a Chartered Accountant with deep experience in industry and manufacturing. She has worked in a number of high growth global operations with responsibility for delivering corporate governance, change management and strategy formulation. Her cross disciplinary experience includes general management, operations and human resources, enabling an integrated perspective of business performance and sustainability. Anna’s Commerce degree has been enhanced by further executive study at Oxford and Cambridge and she is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Annie Lacombe
Head of Engineering
Annie Lacombe is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Engineering Executive with over 20 years of experience delivering complex engineering projects across energy, defense, and manufacturing sectors. As Head of Engineering at MGA Thermal, she leads the development and deployment of thermal energy storage systems. Annie’s expertise in chemical engineering, operational leadership, and agile project delivery ensures reliable, high-quality outcomes for clients. Her proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive innovation makes her a trusted partner in delivering tailored, sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Erich Kisi
Executive Chair, Chief Scientist, & Co-Founder
Dr. Erich Kisi is Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at MGA Thermal, and Co-Inventor of the patented Miscibility Gap Alloy (MGA) thermal energy storage materials the company was named after. A former BHP Steelworks trainee, he became Professor in Material Science at the University of Newcastle in Australia. Following 40 years of experience in academic and applied research Erich has more than 6 years of technology commercialisation and business experience within MGA Thermal.
Evan Keyzer
Head of Research & Development
Evan Keyzer is an experienced scientist with a background in energy storage materials, commercialisation, and project management. At MGA Thermal, he leads the R&D team in advancing MGA’s thermal energy storage technology from concepts to a production-ready systems. Evan holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, supervised by Prof. Dame Clare Grey.
